BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS and PROPER CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Keep away from children or should not be used by children.

2. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.

3. Always unplug the handy shaker before cleaning the metal blade.

4. Wipe the unit with a clean, damp cloth to remove any dirt of dust before using the handy shaker.

5. After using, always unplug the handy shaker.

6. Blade is sharp so please handle it carefully and do not use your fingers to remove lodged objects but instead use a spatula or brush to carefully remove the particles.

7. Place the metal blade end of the handy shaker under running water to rinse it. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

8. Keep away your hands, hair, clothing or other things from the blade to prevent the possibility of severe injury.

9. For oily foods (mayonnaise) wash the mixing container in hot soapy water and dry before storing then rinse the blade with hot water.

10. Do not use the whole cubes for crushing in ice.

11. Turn the handy shaker off and let the blade stop completely before lifting the unit out of the mixture to avoid spatter.

12. This handy shaker can be used safety in a saucepan as long as it is a non-stick then the blade itself never touches the pan.
